My name is JAMES
Based in Northallerton, I’ve been offering expert tuition to young drivers for over 13 years. I am fully qualified and provide professional driving instruction tailored to your individual needs, I also teach in Stokesley, Thirsk and Bedale areas.
I am a Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and have been fully trained in the latest teaching methods to ensure that your training is the best available
Driving in the dark can be daunting. During the winter months I will teach you to drive safely at night; build your confidence and lose those nerves! I pride myself on teaching everyone, even nervous or inexperienced pupils, how to drive safely and well. And whether this is your first attempt to pass your driving test, or you simply want to brush up on existing skills, I can offer a range of lessons especially for you.

Courses available:
My aim is to provide high quality tuition in every way and this reflects in my high first time pass rate. Pupils are all encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning by setting targets for their personal development. I find that this really helps keep them motivated because they know exactly what they are going to achieve and it makes their learning great fun. I picked these coaching skills up during my own training to become a driving instructor with The Instructor College, who put me through their Driving Instructor Education Programme. I really enjoyed my training finding it well structured, inspiring and tailored to suit my needs and it enabled me to deliver the same to my pupils.
Lessons of 60, 90 and 120 minutes are available and can be taken at times to suit you. I can also offer intensive driving courses, motorway tuition and night time driving courses. Typical costs are between £20 - £28 per hour; but please feel free to ask for a personalised quote.
